growing pains

school is about to start. we will be putting two children on the bus this year. letting go of two is a little harder. watching them grow and gain their independence is bittersweet. i can tell you i am holding on to every moment.

we attended a bbq/ice cream night last night at our school. ben was excited to see his school friends again. sam was excited and nervous about meeting all the new kids. as the boys approached the busy playground, sam slipped his little, chubby hand into ben's. it. was. the. sweetest. thing. and off they went to play.
