sounds around the britton house

here are some examples of what you would hear if you spent some time in the britton house:

the washer/dryer running

itunes playing - the kids usually request coldplay/radiohead/thievery corporation/U2 or kidz bop (curse you mcdonalds! we were doing so well.) if jim is in charge, ladyhawke is usually playing

jim cooking in the kitchen (you would also smell the wonderful aroma coming from what jim is cooking in the kitchen)

jenn pouring the wine and remaining far away from the food jim is cooking in the kitchen (it's safer for everyone that way)

sam singing "1-2-3-4 get your bootie on the floor" (while going to the bathroom)

ben playing wii lego star wars and saying "how do you like me now?"

elias singing "we will rock you" or "the right stuff" (yes, mommy taught him some NKOTB)

ben making various star wars weaponry sound effects

ben and sam making up "harry potter spells" and shouting them at each other

odd and end child requests - mom, can you tie this, mom, how do you spell this, can i have a drink, i'm hungry, i can't sleep, i want juice, etc. :)

thunks, thuds, yelps, yells, and laughter - lots and lots of laughter :)

the eerie silence of elias getting into SOMETHING -hmmm...it's eerily quiet
