the lone xx

if you haven't figured it out yet, i am horribly outnumbered. one husband, three sons, and one male fish (bob beta).

star wars is currently the big thing in our house (we have a lego star wars game for the wii and it would be played 24/7 if not for mommy's intervention).

boys vs. girls is the other big thing.

"boy parties" are when mommy actually gets to go out of the house (fairly infrequent).

"brothers" are when you have the same kind of thing going on - the same color shirt, pj pants, etc.

mommy was a complete outsider at dinner last night when daddy and the boys were chatting about the star wars game. even eli was saying "star wars" and "jar-jar" i love my boys - however, at that moment, i wanted a little girl to talk about stuff with :(

during tonight's star wars game, i overheard the following:

b: can't we be brothers?

s:of course we can be brothers - why would i say no? heh?
