ugh. the last 2 weeks or so with ben have been a challenge to say the least. ever since the double snow days, we've been struggling with him acting out, being aggressive toward his brothers, talking back, fighting us about doing his homework, etc. i'm not sure if it was just knocking him out of his rhythm with the snow days or we're in a funky phase. either way it makes me DREAD the upcoming summer. (anyone got any good summer camps?)
if you are the parent of a child over the age of 7.5 - please tell me it gets better!
if this is a phase, please let it be a short one!
any advice is appreciated! seriously. ANY advice. the uncharted territory of the firstborn is still scary to me. all we know to do is to stay consistent and give appropriate consequences for the unpleasant behaviors...
what in the world am i going to do when they are all teenagers? help. perhaps i will just take eli's advice and "go pub".
