would you care to supersize that glass of wine?

it's been one of those days...

one of my little day care darlings is teething and had a really rough day. we've all got a small cold/sore throat thing going on. i washed and dried two crayons in the pocket of one of the boy's and ruined an entire load of laundry (including my new favorite capris and skirt - yes skirt, i know, not me, but it was really cute!). sam told me he wished i didn't work at home and he doesn't like babies. ben left his thermos of unfinished lemonade open and it leaked all through his lunchbox, backpack, school papers, and library book. i made a crock-pot of chili so we wouldn't have to scramble around for dinner tonight, but the green peppers tasted funny and ruined it. sigh.

this day reminds me of the book, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, which, incidentally was one of my favorites as a child.

it also made me supersize tonight's glass of wine...
