Oh those kids...

Aaaahhhh....silence is golden.

So six of the eight children in my care are sleeping and the other two are occupied with hershey's caramel kisses and a movie.

Thought I would do a quick post and let you know what our little dumplings are up to...

Ben is 6.5 going on 18. He loves to play ninjas, swords, pirates, power rangers, police, anything along those lines. He's into video games (don't worry - he gets time limits) and movies. We are definitely thinking a film career for Ben. :) Kindergarden is going very well. We're learning to read! It's very exciting. Ben also has a girlfriend.

Ben quote - "I'm going downstairs to play some video games cause I need some ME time."

Sam is just 4 (see previous post) and continuing to amaze us. He is extremely concerned about others and wants to make sure everyone around him is content. He's also learning to put words together, which is crazy. Sam loves power rangers, the movie Cars, drawing/art stuff, and watching Ben play video games. He is a very observant child - this is a blessing and a curse. He is anxiously awaiting Halloween (hang in there buddy) and loves to dress up in his many costumes. We never know which superhero is going to be running around our house...Captain America? Batman? Spiderman? Home Depot Man?

Sam quote - I can't pick one. He cracks us up all day.

Eli is almost ONE! Wow. How the time does fly. (When did I get so old and nostalgic?) He is full of energy and life. Eli is pretty much the happiest baby I've ever seen. (Except for when he's not feeling good...then he's not much fun at ALL.) He is a complete joy to be around. It's hard to be mad at him, even in the middle of the night, because he just looks at you and gives you a HUGE smile (subsequently melting your heart). Eli is very patient with his big brothers and lights up when they talk to him and play with him. He's also discovering the joys of wrestling with Daddy. He gets SO excited when Jim gets home. He babbles up a storm and we're starting to pick out a couple of words. His favorite thing to do is throw things. He just started walking and it's so cute to see him toddling around (even though it makes mommy cry).

Eli quote - "Uh-oh."
